A creative, fun, unconventional approach to meditation
I’m sure you’ve heard the words meditation and mindfulness at a yoga class or on the news, but why would anyone want to meditate? In a nutshell, meditation is great for relaxation, spiritual growth, and overall physical and emotional health. Mindfulness helps to bring your awareness to the present moment, to keep your mind from dwelling in the past or racing to the future.
Over the years, I’ve explored different kinds of meditation, both religious and secular. I still value and practice traditional silent meditation at least once a day.
But…
I also like to mix things up a bit, Michelle style! I love adding rhythm, movement, and art to my practice, and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 6 years.
Starting June 8, I’ll be bringing my practice to you with the help of some very special friends (see the Guest Appearances section).
Meditative Flow is a 4-week teleclass series to help you flow through your day. It’s simple, easy-to-digest, interactive, and hands on. Get ready for movement, breathing, apples (ya, you read correctly), photography, art, relaxation, and fun!
